Current Grand Canyon University Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach Adds Women’s Premier Soccer League Head Coaching Job to Existing Duties.
Desert Dreams F.C., the Women’s Premier Soccer League team based in the West Valley, has announced Brad Leonard as the club’s new head coach. Leonard will continue his current duties as Grand Canyon University Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach along with his new Desert Dreams FC responsibilities.
Leonard’s professional experience includes coaching positions at multiple NCAA Division One women’s soccer programs, including the University of Missouri, University of California-Berkeley and the University of Nevada. He recently joined the Grand Canyon University staff earlier this year where he’ll be part of the Lopes’ quest for a Mountain West Conference championship this Fall (and beyond).
Former Head Coach Nicole Surdyka:
Previously named 2026 Desert Dreams F.C. head coach Nicole Surdyka recently stepped down from the position due to personal reasons. The club wishes her good luck at her new home in Florida.
Women’s Premier Soccer League Season Kicking Off in May:
